Shark with the strongest jaw

You might be surprised to learn that the shark with the strongest bite is not the great white, the tiger shark or even the great hammerhead. Rather, it's the more modestly-sized bull shark, according to BBC Nature.

While it's true that the world's largest predatory sharks typically have very strong bites, bite strength is not a perfect scale from largest to smallest. Bull sharks aren't quite so large as some other species, but you still wouldn't want to encounter one wading around in murky water. They can grow to formidable sizes, and are infamous man-eaters. Females, which are a bit larger than males, average 2.4 m (7.9 ft) long and typically weigh 130 kg (290 lb). Even so, researchers were surprised to learn that it was the bull shark that delivered the most whopping chomp.
Maria Habegger of the University of South Florida in Tampa and colleagues, recorded the bite force of 13 species of shark and their close relatives for the study. The smallest species studied was the ratfish, an evolutionary cousin of sharks, and the largest was the great white.
"Sometimes size is misleading. Although larger size sharks will exert higher values of bite force, the relative value of bite force is what matters, pound per pound how strong is the bite?," said Habegger.
Bull sharks were shown to bite with a force measuring 6,000N at the back of the jaw and more than 2,000N at the front. That's much more than is needed to slice through skin or snap bone. So why such a strong bite?
Researchers guessed that the strong bite might be necessary to crunch turtle shells, a popular menu item for many of the large predatory sharks. But that still doesn't explain why it's the bull sharks in particular which have the most fearsome bite.
One trait that is unique to bull sharks among the larger shark species is their high tolerance of freshwater. In fact, bull sharks have been known to swim as far up the Mississippi River as Alton, Illinois. They have even been known to jump the rapids of the San Juan River in Nicaragua, almost like salmon.
Researchers therefore hypothesize that their bite strength might have something to do with their occasional freshwater lifestyle.
"In a lower visibility environment catching prey may be more difficult than in open water. So once you get a prey between your jaws, securing it is crucial to not lose your meal," said Habegger.
Their freshwater ways are also a big reason why most experts believe bull sharks are the most dangerous sharks in the world, since they encounter human swimmers in such a wide variety of habitats. Murky river water also means low visibility, so the sharks are more likely to attack due to cases of mistaken identity. In fact, the string of attacks that inspired the movie Jaws along the Jersey Shore in 1916 were probably done by bull sharks, not by a great white like the film depicts.
The fact that bull sharks have now been shown to have the strongest bites will probably only add to their ferocious reputation as the world's most dangerous shark.

Procrastonation

In psychology, procrastination refers to the act of replacing more urgent actions with tasks less urgent, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time. In accordance with Freud, the pleasure principle may be responsible for procrastination; humans prefer avoiding negative emotions, and delaying a stressful task. The concept that humans work best under pressure provides additional enjoyment and motivation to postponing a task. Some psychologists cite such behavior as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting or completing any task or decision. Other psychologists indicate that anxiety is just as likely to get people to start working early as late and the focus should be impulsiveness. That is, anxiety will cause people to delay only if they are impulsive.
Schraw, Wadkins, and Olafson have proposed three criteria for a behavior to be classified as procrastination: it must be counterproductive, needless, and delaying. Similarly, Steel (2007) reviews all previous attempts to define procrastination, indicating it is "to voluntarily delay an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay."
Procrastination may result in stress, a sense of guilt and crisis, severe loss of personal productivity, as well as social disapproval for not meeting responsibilities or commitments. These feelings combined may promote further procrastination. While it is regarded as normal for people to procrastinate to some degree, it becomes a problem when it impedes normal functioning. Chronic procrastination may be a sign of an underlying psychological disorder. Such procrastinators may have difficulty seeking support due to social stigma and the belief that task-aversion is caused by laziness, low willpower or low ambition. On the other hand many regard procrastination as a useful way of identifying what is important to us personally as it is rare to procrastinate when one truly values the task at hand.

In A Nutshell . Just Don't DO IT !

Add More Lines They say .

Not used to drawing by starting off with rough sketches and lines but that's how the professionals do it so might as well give it a go . But then by looking at what fantastic results that came out I think I will just stick with drawing it out right away ... saves time by not erasing too much to .

Something that I drew apparently for no reason why . Don't ask .

Just something that I drew as I was flipping around doctor job's magazine . Saw their mascot and decided to give it a make-over . Let the verdict begins it's trial .

Smart Gadgets

Nowadays it's really rare for me to spot anyone using keypad phones . Everywhere I go , smartphones and smartphones everywhere . Smart Tablets on the occasional .Seriously , it's driving me crazy when I see everyone so deeply endorsed in their smart gadgets when I am in the LRT . Headphones and earplugs everywhere in the LRT , eyes on the screen 24/7 watching youtube , updating facebook and the absolutely dreaded korean dramas ...... Eyes gonna bleed . But those are not even close to the thing which I hate the most , gaming on phones and tablets . Yeah . What the heck are they made for ? That is totally different from the advertisement on the TV screen from home . They are not meant to be used like that silly . They are smart gadgets , S-M-A-R-T for God's sake . Use them professionally please people . Phones are not meant to be used that way . Don't camwhore with phones please , the awesome Megapixels have had much greater purpose to serve than taking duck-faces and come on people posting your food on the net ? This is seriously to much for me . Extensive social-networking through smart gadgets are killing off real life communication . People tend to speak more than they should on the net revealing details which they would never say in public . Take 1 for example when someone post their newly bought clothes like " Hey people I just bought a new pair of *whatever that thing is " and so on .... Err . so what now ? The rest of the netizens are your wardrobe keeper now ? Dude for goodness sake . I don't care what you just bought and I don't want to know ! The remarkably and astonishing of all that I would say , someone just had to like it . Which lead to one of the major problem which triggers a deep self-thought for me . Like , like and more like . Some people just can't live without it . Worst of all they seemed to like every single crap one would have posted on the social networks . And for no reason why , I have no idea why would someone announce something as depressing as the death of ones relative . For the worst of all reasons someone would have liked the post . I mean come on , liking a post which is related to someone's death ? Celebrating the death of another person which is how I would have depict it . But hey who am I to judge and condemn , I am one of the contributors too . Maybe just not to that kind of extent .

Pacific Rim ?

Alright I know that Mi-Neons are all the rage now . But I am not here to talk about our cute and cuddly yellow friends , I kinda like them though but I like the purple one better because I like bad-assess . Back to the main topic . And so instead of spending money on Despicable Me 2 , me and my pals decided to watch something which tend so suit us more which is undeniably , Pacific Rim . How's the movie ? I would say that the plot is kinda rushed as the story goes fast and I mean real fast without much story after the death of yancy beckett . Although the plot feels kinda rushed but I would say that the actions packed in the movie was too much for a man to bear . I mean come on robots and giant monsters fighting ? Most of my life were spent on fantasizing giant robots and monsters fighting with each other . This movie had done a whole lot more than reliving my childhood . Had to stop letting the cat out of the bag though just in case I might end up spoiling the movie for those who had yet to watch it . But Hey , the ticket worth every note . I mean why spend your money on watching those bananas in Despicable Me 2 while you could have scream and squeal in delight when giant metal fists makes contact with giant bad-ass monsters from the deep . No offense but this was wrote entirely based on my opinion . So I humbly apologize if you think otherwise .
